Privacy Policy

• Account data: mobile number (used for OTP login), and optionally your name and email.
• Delivery data: saved addresses, pincode, landmark, delivery instructions and recipient phone.
• Approximate location (optional): if you tap “Use my current location”, your device’s coordinates, rounded to about 100 metres, are sent through our server to OpenStreetMap only to look up your pincode. We do not store them.
• Order data: items purchased, amounts, coupons used, order status history and delivery OTP confirmations.
• Payment data: payments are processed by our licensed payment partners. We receive a transaction reference and status, never your full card, UPI PIN or bank credentials.
• Technical data: device and browser type, IP address and basic usage logs needed to run and secure the service.
• Age confirmation: your confirmation that you are 18 or older, and where required, ID verification at delivery (we do not store copies of your ID).

• To create your account and log you in securely with OTP.
• To accept, deliver and support your orders, including live tracking and rider handover.
• To send order updates by SMS, WhatsApp or email.
• To prevent fraud, abuse and sale of fireworks to minors, and to meet legal obligations (including PESO and tax rules).
• With your consent, to send offers. You can opt out at any time.

We share only what is needed:

• Delivery partners/riders: recipient name, phone and address for your active order only.
• Service providers: hosting, SMS/WhatsApp and payment providers bound by confidentiality and data-processing terms.
• Authorities: where required by law or a valid legal request.

We do not sell your personal data.

We keep account data while your account is active. Order and invoice records are kept for the period required by tax and accounting law (generally up to 8 years). Other data is deleted or anonymised when no longer needed.

• Access a summary of your personal data and how it is used.
• Correct or update your data. Most of it can be edited directly in My Account.
• Request erasure of your account and data, subject to legal retention.
• Withdraw consent for marketing at any time.
• Nominate another person to exercise your rights in case of death or incapacity.
• Raise a grievance with us, and if unresolved, with the Data Protection Board of India.

Data is encrypted in transit, access is limited to staff who need it, and payment details are handled only by PCI-DSS compliant payment partners. No system is perfectly secure. We will notify you and the authorities of a personal data breach as required by law.

FireKarrt is only for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
